Kinko's Business Card Template

After trying out some of the online services like iPrint, Prints-Made-Easy, and Find Business Cards, I ended up going with the local Kinko's. The problem is, some of those sites make it difficult to create custom business cards and other won't ship to Canada. It's also kind of nice being able to talk face-to-face with the person who is printing and cutting your work.

Anyway, Kinko's charges to have them place your business cards, eight per page. I decided to save myself that bit of money and build my own layout. It's very simple but I decided to post it here in case anybody found themselves in a similar situation.

So here it is, a simple business card template with guides and crop lines. Fire it up in Illustrator and have your way with it.

One thing about getting to layout the cards yourself is you can tweak them a bit. Most of my cards have yellow stripes but I set it up so one in every eight is green!

Try http://www.ooprint.com !

They have blank models to which you can upload your own photos/images/design/logo . . . it's so easy to use their website! They also offer FREE business cards, and Blogger cards, which are specifically designed to promote your website/blog.

And don't worry, they do ship to Canada :-)

Thanks a lot for this - The Kinkos in White Plains said it would cost $40 for the setup and the proof would be ready tomorrow when I needed everything done today. They didn't say anything about this setup when I called yesterday and said that there would be a few hours turnaround. Hopefully this will allow me to get everything done today! Thanks again!
