Laptop Graphics Problem: Is Firefox Showing the Wrong Colour?
After thinking my laptop graphics card woes on my ASUS F3SA notebook were all gone I discovered a problem that only seemed to appear in Firefox. And not very often at that. Once in a while, the font colour of a heading or error message would be wrong. The text might appear red instead of blue, or an orange phrase would show up in cyan. Viewing the same page in Internet Explorer showed the correct colours.
Turns out, it wasn't a Firefox problem at all, it was more trouble with my mobile Radeon graphics card. After posting about my previous problems I received an anonymous comment suggesting I try OmegaDrivers.net. I did just that. It fixed my problem. Great.
I just hope no more problems pop up.
By the way, I don't mind the big buttons used to choose your graphics card and OS on their website but what a ridiculous Flash navigation interface! lol

Hey,
Thanks for this post. It didn't help but it got me moving down the right path. I have a desktop with a ATI 3650HD and I just installed XP with it and everything was popping up red/orange in FF and I thought I would have to give up Firefox or XP. Neither of which would be a favorable choice.
I installed the Omega Drivers, but it didn't fix the problem. So I removed all the drivers, went to the ATI website and got the latest one and it worked.
I just want to point out that in my case neither the Omega drivers nor the latest drivers from the ATI website solved the problem. Only when I went back to the original drivers shipped on CD with the computer the colour issue disappeared.
