Nature's Mandatory Downtime

By daniel - Posted on 14 February 2009

recovering. by-symptoms: bed blanket claustrophobia, lipton chicken noodle soup overdose, and too much singing with the "sexy," smoky voice.

It's not often I get sick and it's been years since illness has kept me away from work for more than a day. I spent Monday to Wednesday and most of Thursday lying in bed with no energy.

Some projects couldn't wait, so I found myself doing a bit of work Tuesday night and again on Wednesday—no rest for the wicked, I suppose. (-;

Fortunately, some good came of all that lying around: I had heaps of time for introspection, planning, and brainstorming and I've come out with a clearer idea of where I'm headed in both life and business. Perhaps more exciting, though, are the new ideas I'll be working on in the next few weeks (after I catch up with work).
