Nathan Chase just posted an article about the market for online visualizations and featured Constellation Roamer as one of the available "premium visualization" products. It's an interesting comparison of the online visualization tools that are out there from a business perspective. He's already got quite a discussion going in the comments so go have look.

I was always under the impression that a business account is something desirable, that there were benefits of having one. Maybe lower fees or advantageous account types. If you're a web-based freelancer thinking about a business account you might want to reconsider.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that registering a small business—at least, in B.C.—is a pretty smooth process. Sure, you have to do your research beforehand, but once the decision is made it's not so bad. As for running a business...

An old side-project. After working through the equations for translating 3D points to a 2D screen I decided to apply it to a little animation.

Finally sat down and backed up my files to an external hard drive. Copying files isn't terribly interesting but going through my archived projects folder was interesting. I decided to post links to two of the projects that are still online.

Just got back from a talk put on by the Vancouver User Experience Group titled, "Creative Thinking Hacks." The speaker, Scott Berkun, certainly hit a lot of interesting points during those ninety minutes.

One of the few problems that I've had with my laptop after downgrading to Windows XP on my Asus F3SA notebook was caused by the driver for my graphics card. Yesterday I poked around for a solution and it seems the problems are fixed!

Downgrading from the notorious Vista to Windows XP on my new Asus laptop was a bit painful. Hopefully these notes will help some one in a similar situation!

It's been quite a while since the last post and a lot has happened since then. Here's a quick update of what's gone down the past six weeks.
